Welcome to the Palmerston Pirates Softball Club Website. Established since 1988, The Palmerston Pirates has grown from a group of dedicated players who first established the club in a fast growing Palmerston region. The City of Palmerston is situated approximately 20 km south of Darwin City in the Northern Territory and is commonly called the Satelite City to Darwin. It is one of the fastest growing centres within the Northern Territory. The Palmerston Pirates is a very family orientated club and frequently organises functions to promote a friendly atmosphere. Players are generally drawn from the Palmerston & Rural areas south of Palmerston. The club participates in the Darwin Softball Competition and is currently fielding teams in Divisions 1, 2, 3 & Under 16's
Training is conducted at Palmerston High School Oval- Map 22 E3 of the PDC Directory.
